Team Amigo
C.R. Moore Dodge, Vinita, Okla
Of course, Tana only drives Dodge pickups. Her one-ton duel wheel diesel truck gets them safely to and from the rodeos. She is trying one of the new automatics with tow-haul. So far, so good. It has plenty of power, and gets a little better fuel mileage. All the folks at C.R. Moore are great. If you’re looking for a new truck, give them a call at 1-800-300-6455. They support rodeo and cowboys.
Cowboy Rigs, Pryor, Okla
Tana and Amigo travel in a 29-foot gooseneck Platinum Coach from Cowboy Rigs. Platinum is the only way to go, and Cowboy Rigs is dealer to see. If you are driving Hwy 69 north of Pryor, look to your left as you make the first curve and you’ll see the fine selection of new and used trailers. If they don’t have just what you want, they’ll order you one. They take trades, and offer financing. The trailer Tana hauled last year is now for sale. Call Marty at 918-825-9400.
Total Health Enhancement, San Juan Capistrano, Calif
Amigo gets EnduroPlus and NutraWound every day on the road. Tana also carries the GastroPlus which is great to treat colic, although its main purpose is to heal ulcers. When it’s hot, Amigo gets THElectrolyte. “This electrolyte helps Amigo immediately refresh his body. That’s what he got between the big money runs at Calgary!” Tana takes the HomoxidePlus to keep her healthy and vibrant on the road, too. THE offers many great nutritional solutions for equines and humans. If you have a problem, call Bob (he’s the owner) 888-422-8398, and he’ll match you with the formula to help you and your horse perform to your maximum capability.
Professional’s Choice, El Cajon, Calif
Amigo, and all Tana’s horses are protected by ProfChoice boots. Tana uses a Charmayne James saddle pad on Amigo, and an AirRide pad on Goose. “They now have magnetic bell boots and hock boots that I use on Amigo to keep the blood flowing.”
ProfChoice makes horse blankets, cinches, bell boots, etc, as well as neat organizational items for your trailor. “They make lots of fun colors, so you can change your horse’s wardrobe to match yours!” Check it out at www.profchoice.com.
EquiPride by SweetPro, Walhalla, ND
Tana feeds EquiPride minerals with her feed on the road, and at home, Amigo and the rest of the herd, have free choice licks. “The horses love the licks, sometimes I have to take them away for a day or two.” EquiPride provides all the important minerals, especially calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium in the proper ratio to ensure easy absorption. “Rick Reeves (Hallsville, TX) makes sure Amigo has a good supply of EquiPride. He can talk to you all day about the great results he has seen.” Check out their website for a dealer near you. www.equipride.biz.
Mobile Equine Clinic, Bixby, Okla
Dr. Teri Stacy, DVM
Dr. Stacy helps keep Amigo and the other horses healthy and running good. She barrel races, herself, so she understands how important your horse is. She is a good listener, as she’s told Tana, “you’re the one riding him and you know your horse, so you know when something’s just not right.” Then she’ll work with you to find it, and fix it. If you’re in the Tulsa area and need a vet, call Dr. Stacy at 918-284-4004. |
